Private aviation is an industry that prides itself on exceptional service, refined taste, and delivering a product that is only afforded to the most privileged of society.
And like every other part of the private aviation industry, its cabin crew pride themselves on being among the most capable, talented, and intelligent.
Private aviation is different. The objectives are different. Planning, strategy and innovation are required. Adapting to unique circumstances is the rule, not the exception.
To best prepare yourself for the next step in your aviation career, you need an insider’s knowledge and experience to detail the industry’s inner workings, answer your questions, and illustrate with practical examples that give you the advantage required to stand out and excel.
You probably already know that now is a great time to consider making the move from commercial to private aviation. While commercial airlines are struggling with pandemic and economic issues, business is increasing for private airlines. Demand is growing and companies are hiring.
Even major media like the New York Times and NBC are reporting on the recent growth in private aviation.
About Me
Hi, my name is Monica. I am a certified trainer and private flight attendant. I have worked in commercial and private aviation for ten years after leaving behind an accelerated career in media, public relations and communications.
My background in media and public relations has been a benefit not only in working comfortably among high-profile clients in private aviation, but also in developing communication skills to teach aspiring private flight attendants how to best prepare themselves to be employed in the industry.
From within the aviation industry I have further extended my professional qualifications with trainings in advanced feedback and coaching, leadership, and corporate economic analysis. These skills are among the foundations of my coaching work. They help me to successfully prepare candidates like you for employment as private flight attendants.
Perhaps because I can be a bit obsessive about doing the best job that I possibly can, I have received numerous awards and recognitions during my time in aviation. In private aviation in particular I have been recognized by many clients for my work, which in the words of a recent client is “excellent, and her attention to detail is perfect”.
Why Me
There are a number of coaching and training options available in the market today. Some are good, others are not. I personally used a one-day coaching in preparing to enter private aviation. It was OK. It did help boost my confidence and I did learn some important things.
I won’t go on and on about how I’m better than other options available to you. What I will tell you is why my coaching is valuable, unique and provides necessary information that others do not.
- My coaching is not the same for everyone. I try my best to understand your strengths and weaknesses and to the best of my ability tailor the training to you. Although it sometimes feels like the industry can treat us all the same, I do not.
- My coaching is not full of boring lectures and pre-recorded videos. It is interactive, participatory, one-on-one coaching. It makes you think. It asks you to study, speak, complete practice exercises, track your progress, and think about who you are as a developing professional in the aviation industry.
- The central focus of my coaching is to prepare you for getting hired. I give you the information and insights you need that matter the most. I want you to act with distinction, sell the best version of yourself when it’s critical to do so, and stand out among the other candidates to maximize your chances of passing the interview and getting the job.
- My coaching draws from a broad range of professional experience which extends beyond aviation and into communications, public relations, crew management, and professional development.
- My coaching does not waste your time. I do everything that I can to make every moment that we have together count.
- My coaching is full of information from an insider’s perspective. You will not hear this information from others and you won’t read it on a website.
- My coaching is honest and from the heart. I tell it how it is, 100% of the time.
- My coaching has, in my opinion, the best quality to price ratio available. I pack everything I know that can possibly be of use to you into my coaching. In the same way that I am dedicated inside the cabin to doing the absolute best that I can, I am dedicated to doing my job well with you and providing you the best coaching possible.
If this sounds like what you are looking for then my coaching is almost certainly a good option for you and will benefit you greatly.

Coaching Options
Basic Coaching
This live coaching is for any candidate aspiring to become a private flight attendant and gain the knowledge of the industry – the critical competencies to master, operational strategies, delivering a bespoke service, and more – but do not need examples to clarify their learning, do not need demonstrations to see things done, do not need insights into the job search or interview preparation, and do not need a CV revision.
These coaching sessions focus on developing the correct mindset and understanding of your expected competencies as a private flight attendant and prepare you thoroughly for your entry into private aviation.
We explore in-depth flight operations from start to finish, including tips and tricks that only come from insiders with experience, so that you can speak intelligently about these topics during the interview process.
We will explore service in-depth to prepare you for any and every type of flight you may face in your future role, especially to be successful in your assessment mock-ups.
And we will go beyond normal operations and service to explore less-discussed but equally important topics that give even more depth to your understanding and put a professional touch on everything that comes before it.
When our coaching has concluded you will have a comprehensive understanding of private flight operations and will understand everything involved in the art of delivering a bespoke service on a private jet, including all of the aspects that directly and indirectly impact your role as a private jet flight attendant. You will know how to tailor yourself as a professional to fulfill the required competencies and maximize your chances of getting the job.
The main differences between this coaching and the full coaching are the number of real-life examples explored throughout the coaching, and the focus on getting a job in private aviation. This training does not provide as many real-life examples of various situations and circumstances that you must be prepared for on the job, it does not explore in-depth the job search, interview preparation, interview questions, or interview practice and feedback, it does not include a CV revision, and it does not include a follow-up hour of coaching at a future date in preparation for a job interview.
Duration: 8 hours | 4 Hours Day 1 | 4 Hours Day 2
Comprehensive Coaching
This live coaching is for any candidate aspiring to become a private flight attendant, who desires an in-depth education about the industry, and who has a strong desire to be as prepared as possible for finding job opportunities and succeeding during interviews.
These coaching sessions focus on providing you with a complete understanding of the transition from commercial to private aviation, from start to finish. We explore in-depth flight operations from start to finish, including tips and tricks that only come from insiders with experience. I reinforce your understanding with examples of how to respond to various operational circumstances that are unique to private aviation.
We will explore service in-depth to prepare you for any and every type of flight you may face. This important section of the coaching provides you with an advanced degree of knowledge, reinforced with examples and demonstrations, that strengthen your ability to deliver the best possible service.
We will go beyond normal operations and service to explore less-discussed but equally important topics that give even more depth to your understanding and put a professional touch on everything that comes before it.
We will finish with an exploration of how to maximize your chances for being hired by a private airline or private owner. This critical section is filled with actionable information, some of which you will have trouble finding anywhere else. I emphasize the most important things to do to make it happen for you: find job opportunities, get noticed by recruiters, be prepared for the interview, answer questions correctly, stand out amongst other candidates, and leave a strong impression on recruiters.
This coaching uses examples that are taken from real-life situations which myself and colleagues face, examples which will impress recruiters when you speak intelligently about them.
This coaching also includes a revision of your CV by a native English speaker with a degree in English with best practices including formatting for machine reading, and it reserves one hour for your future use in the next six months for us to meet again at your discretion, hopefully in preparation for a job interview.
Duration 12 hours | 3 Hours Day 1 | 4 Hours Day 2 | 4 Hours Day 3 | 1 Hour Follow-Up
Please note: I strongly recommend that in addition to the coaching sessions, you allocate an additional 2-3 hours each day during the course of our interaction for studying on your own to maximize the depth of your learning.
Hourly Coaching
This live coaching is for candidates who cannot commit to a more comprehensive coaching, or for candidates who feel confident about their circumstances except for one or two small things that they would like clarified or elaborated on.
Please note that there are a few topics that I do not coach on in hourly sessions, specifically things related to job search and interview preparation.
Please feel free to approach me with any questions you have before booking.
